Learning to Unlearn

As a currrent student it is goin to be hard to relearn things. We will most likely teach our students the way we were taught. We will have to relearn ways to teach get our students. As it is said in the Connected Educator "we need to rethink how we do our job. We need to redifine our actions as educators so that we are teaching studetns how to learn".
A stated the article Learning, Unlearning and Relearning,  by learning new to come up with new way to teach the contect. Followed by unlearning is letting go of things you have learned. Also, given up the idea we have of teachers and how our classrooms should appear. Finally relearning is creating new ways to teach the concepts. Teaching to unlearn is one of the hardest things a teacher has to do. We will learn different way to teach our material in creative ways to make the classroom more educational.

Flipped Learning

Our assignment for the the last couple week was constructed a flipped lesson. At first I thought it was a neat idea, after doing the lesson I really like the idea. It takes a lot of prep time to complete the lesson but I believe it is worth. My concept was rather easy, and may not have needed a flip lesson video. For some of the lesson that we will have in our classrooms, I believe that the flipped concept will be very beneficial to our students. They can learn the concept, and become a little familiar with it before the lesson for better understanding. This video is my flipped lesson, on how to read a ruler. This was a middle lessson after then have already planted their plants, and this video is an introduction to what we will be doing in class the next day. This was a video aimed toward first grade. I hope you enjoy!
